Hi everyone so as a bit of a UI designer myself I wanted to post about something I noticed primarily about Phone UIs

Also i just want to mention UI is art and art is subjective this is just my opinion lol

A few weeks ago i got the Update prompt for Samsung’s new one ui7 and I decided to try it out so I updated my phone and wow it sucks

It sucked so bad i coined a term for it i call it a “disassociated UI” a Ui that is there it doesn’t stop you from doing what you need to do but it just feels empty or that something is off or missing.

And yea thats how I thought of a whole new term in Ui design lol all thanks to the disaster that is one ui 7 congrats samsung!

I had it for a short while but it was so crap I had to downgrade back to one ui 6.1 only issue to downgrade you have to Plug it into a computer and reinstall with Odin which clears all your stuff tho if you make a backup with smartthings pc then restore it after downgrading- i mean upgrading you can restore most of your stuff

Yea could have continued on one ui 7 my phone still works but its not the same lol
